His songs and compositions have been recorded by the likes of Karan Casey, Flook , Brian Finnegan, Damian O’Kane & Beoga.  As a painter he is fast becoming an important figure in contemporary Irish Art, exhibiting at home and abroad to high critical acclaim.

“Like Gaughan and Moore…but with his own thing going on. I love this guy! “

Mike Harding BBC Radio Two says,

“Ruairí comes from south Armagh, an area steeped in the singing traditions of Ulster. Having been brought up in a musical household he soaked up the music of his home-place and in turn developed a style of his own. He is regarded as one of the finest young guitarists in Ireland today. With an exciting and unique delivery he is constantly in demand as a session musician, both for live and studio work.

Kerr & Cunnane have been performing together for a number of years at home and abroad and are currently working on material for a duet album. Their music has been described as being-

“Reminiscent of the bouzouki & guitar interplay of the Paul Brady Andy Irvine era”
