Britain’s Got Talent star drops in to Newry Credit Union

Fans of Britain’s Got Talent were in for a treat last Saturday when finalist Jordan O’ Keefe dropped in to Newry Credit Union to launch their Juvenile Members Concert- ‘CU on Hill Street’.

Hundreds of swooning fans greeted the Derry singer as he appeared to sign autographs, t-shirts and other merchandise as part of the launch of the concert which takes place on Sunday 25th August as part of Newry Credit Union’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.

Jordan will be one of the stars of the free concert which will also feature several other big names to be announced in the coming weeks.  Tickets will be available first to Newry Credit Union juvenile members, members of other Credit Unions and then on general release.

Brendan Jackson, Manager Newry Credit Union said, “We are delighted to welcome Jordan to Newry as part of the launch of ‘CU on Hill Street’, our juvenile members’ concert taking place in August. We have been celebrating our 50th Anniversary throughout this year and our younger members are a very important part of this celebration.

“This concert will be a great way for them to celebrate and remember the 50th Anniversary. We have a number of other exciting acts to announce as well as details on how to get tickets in the coming weeks.”

Speaking ahead of his appearance Jordan O’Keefe added, “I’m really excited to be coming to Newry and to be part of ‘CU on Hill Street’. It is going to be a fantastic event. I know I had great support from the Newry area during Britain’s Got Talent.”
