Ring of Gullion Landscape Partnership Community Consultation off to a good start

July 1, 2013

Last Wednesday night saw the start of the community consultation for the Ring of Gullion Landscape Partnership. The music from the Ring of Gullion Comhaltas, and dancing from students of Debby Maguire’s School of Dancing left the audience in no doubt that the talent in south Armagh is second to none.

Darren Rice, Ring of Gullion Officer said, “People had a chance to have their say about the projects and there was also some fantastic ideas for their own heritage projects that the board will assess, and I have no doubt we will run with them”

If you missed the consultation in Mullaghbawn there will be a chance for you to have your say in Forkhill – 3rd July, Jonesborough – 17th July and Camlough and Bessbrook – 24th July.

There will be storytelling, and refreshments on the night in Forkhill and a chance to have your say.

There will be an opportunity on the 28th of August for everyone to see the final list of proposed projects and have their say on them.
