Remembering Frances Brannigan night

February 24, 2009

On behalf of all the Friends of St Patrick’s Primary School and Gael Scoil Phádraig Naofa committee, I would like to extend sincere appreciation to everyone who attended the recent “Remembering Frances Brannigan” night.

Sincere thanks to all who bought tickets for the night and for the raffle; to all those who kindly donated prizes for the night, your generosity is much appreciated and to all those who sold tickets and helped in any way with the organisation of the event.

Many thanks to Dr Fee for his input and for accepting the cheque on behalf of the Terminal Services Fund and thanks also to Mr Gildea from St Patrick’s PS for accepting the difibrillator on behalf of the school.  Many thanks to the management and staff of the Rangers Hall for allowing us to have the event in the hall and for all their hard work.  Thank you to Mona McEntee and staff for the beautiful refreshments served.  Sincere thanks to Mr Brendan O’Dufaigh for his many kind words as guest speaker on the night.

Thank you and well done to Eamon, Kealon and Roisin who spoke on the night about how the Frances Brannigan Fund has benefitted them with the scholarships they received.

To all the musicians and singers who turned up to play in the traditional session and also to Applejack for a great night of music and dancing.

Thank you to everyone who was involved in this very successful and enjoyable night.  This was the second year of the event and as before all proceeds will go towards scholarships and local charities.  Hope to see you all again next year!

Best regards,

Joe Brannigan
