Cuan Mhuire Coffee Morning Invite to All

Cuan Mhuire Newry is holding its annual fund raising Coffee  Morning on Saturday March 1st and  Sr Consilio Fitzgerald founder of Cuan Mhuire, Ireland’s largest voluntary provider of support and rehabilitation treatment for individuals suffering from addiction and other related issues, extends an invitation to all to come along and enjoy the day.

Grounded Espresso Bars Newry & Slieve Gullion Courtyard will once again be the main sponsor of the event which promises to be a family day with Face Painting, Arts& Crafts Stall and Musical entertainment.

“We couldn’t continue our work without the wonderful generosity of families, communities and individuals.We really appreciate their support. on behalf of the Cuan Mhuire family I extend an invitation to all to feel free and call into our Coffee Morning at our Newry Centre on the Old Dublin Road this Saturday between 10am and 2pm” said Sr Consilio.

Newry and Mourne Mayor Michael Ruane visited the Cuan Mhuire Centre to offer his and Newry and Mourne Council’s continued support to Sr Consilio and her staff.

“Cuan Mhuire since its formation in 1966 by Sr. Consilio, Cuan Mhuire has treated over 75,000 people.  Now more than ever the life saving and changing services on offer from Cuan Mhuire are desperately needed and I wish Sr Consilio and the Cuan Mhuire family well in their continued endeavours to help those in need” said the Mayor.
