The group got a standing ovation from not only the audience but the judging panel consisting of Simon Cowell, Alesha Dickson, Amanda Holden and David Walliams on the first show in the 2014 series.

CountryVive (originally known as Countrified) is a line dance act who hail from all across the UK and is headed up by Shane McKeever. The team is made up from members of the World Dance Masters Elite Show Team, a group of line dance judges, instructors, and World Dance Masters Allstar competitors who get together once a year to perform at the World Dance Masters Championships, held in the Winter Gardens, Blackpool, in August.

In preparation for their audition show, the dancers from Countrified gathered from across the country for one day to create a brand new routine. In their audition they danced to Backwards by Rascal Flatts, a country music band from the USA.

The group received plenty of positive comments from the judges with David Walliams describing them as “The answer to our prayers” with Simon Cowell saying they’d taken it “to a whole new level”
