The launch of the 8th Brigid of Faughart Festival, by Councillor Marianne Butler of Louth County Council, took place in the County Library, Dundalk on Tuesday 13th January.

Stories and memories of how St. Brigid’s Day was celebrated locally were shared at the launch evening by many of the guests.
