The Derrynoose Drama Group rehearsing their play “The Honeymoon Hotel” in Paddy McKee’s shed

February 15, 2016

The laughter can be heard echoing around the hills of Derrynoose and across the border as the dedicated Derrynoose Drama Group rehearse for  this year’s play “The Honeymoon Hotel” . After a long winter rehearsing the play will take to the stage of Derrynoose Community Centre on Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st February 2016. This is the Derrynoose Drama Group’s 12th production. After last year’s success with “Uncle Tommy’s Wake” by Armand Gaillard the group decided to take on another play by the same play writer.  Indeed it was a great honour for the group last year when the great play writer Armand Gailard turned up to see the performance. This year’s play “The Honeymoon Hotel” is very funny, imaginative, mysterious and well worth seeing. All roads to Derrynoose  on the third weekend in February and we look forward to seeing everyone who enjoys a good ole comedy play again.
