Easter Monday Country Special coming to the Whistledown

The Whistledown Hotel, Warrenpoint opens its doors for a spectacular night of country music on Easter Monday 28th March.
The highly acclaimed Country Music Showtime with the stars concert organised by Sean Wallace Entertainment comes to Warrenpoint for the first time.
On stage will be Ireland’s most versatile performer and entertainer Stephen Smyth, “Mr Country Music” himself Joe Moore, comedy and craic with the one and only Farmer Dan (aka) Barry Doyle, new country singing sensation Shane Owens voted “Best Newcomer” at the recent Sunday World Awards in Mullingar Park Hotel.  Bringing some glamour to the show are two new singing stars Kerry Fearon, who is a contestant in the current TG4 Television Glor-Tile Talent Show, while Co. Down Rose Maeve Farrell has just released her debut album which is any young singers dream.
Local singer from Dromintee, Ciaran Murphy, who is making great strides on the local country scene will also be appearing at the Whistledown along with his many fans who will be there to cheer him on.  The brilliant  Country Harmony provide the backing for all the artists who will be introduced on stage by compere Sean Wallace.  Doors open at 7 o’clock, concert starts at 8 o’clock, tickets £12.50 available from the hotel reception (Tel) 02841754174, the Tuck Shop, Warrenpoint, Tinnelly’s  Service Station, Rostrevor, Mulkearn’s Eurospar, Newtowncloguge, or book your tickets direct  from Sean Wallace (07779115404) and collect them at the door on the night of the show.  Proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Children’s Cancer Unit Charity at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.  Due to limited numbers of tickets only available early booking is advisable as these always sell out in advance.  Definitely the ideal Easter Gift for a dedicated country music fan.
