“Country Ladies of the Moment” comes to Mullaghbawn

An exciting live country music show featuring some of Ireland’s finest and experienced female voices on the country scene at the moment is set to come to the Ti Chulainn Centre, Mullaghbawn this month.

“Country Ladies of the Moment” features a mix of American and Irish country songs, old standards and new classics and boasts a line-up which includes the hugely talented Kathy Crinion, stunning new star Lauren McCrory, Irelands own Dolly Angela Reid, the powerhouse that is Angeline and local singing sensation Kerry Fearon – all backed by a live band.

The girls have put together a wonderful live show that really showcases their exceptional talent. They will take you on a musical journey before sending you home wanting more as they join forces for a real Country hoedown. In their own right the girls from all over the Country are stunningly talented vocalists and entertainers – together they are magical.

Lauren McCrory is the baby of the show, but this young Tyrone lady has one of the most cultured voices in Irish music and has enjoyed some wonderful success with her debut single “Redneck woman”

Kathy Crinion is one of the Country’s best kept secrets.  Hailing from Meath,  Kathy’s album “Lovin What I Do” was RTE Radio 1 “Album of the Week” as well as “Album of the Week” on 9 Danish Radio stations.

Angela Reid needs no introduction, a contestant on TG4 Glor Tire she has been a hugely popular country singer for many years and has been described as Ireland’s Dolly Parton, with several top selling albums and singles behind her.

Tyrone woman, Angeline, is back on the country scene with her renowned powerhouse vocals.  Dromintee singing sensation Kerry Fearon became known as the “pocket rocket” after her appearance as a contestant and finalist on this year’s Glor Tire. The local country singer’s star has been on the rise for over a year now and she has shared the stage with some of the top names in the business.

The girls are backed by The Country Boys Band and the show, which comes to Ti Chulainn next Saturday 15th October, features a full two hours of an exciting, vibrant and new musical experience with a great night guaranteed.
