Grainne survives week one of The Apprentice

October 10, 2016

Well done to Dromintee entrepreneur and business woman, Grainne McCoy for escaping the dreaded finger of doom when the 12th series of The Apprentice made its debut on BBC One last Thursday.

The 31 year old south Armagh woman, who owns a make-up studio and has worked on a number of films and celebrity clients in the past, was one of 18 new candidates trying to sell collectable antique items in the first of Lord Alan Sugar’s business challenges.

Grainne avoided the boardroom showdown after her all girl team “Nebular” lost out to the boys’ team “Titans” in the frantic sales task.

Project manager Michelle Niziol became the first victim with Lord Sugar firing the founder and owner of three mortgage and property companies for failing to lead the girls to victory due to an apparent lack of pricing strategy in the task.

Despite a shaky start on the losing team, Grainne has survived to fight for the title of Lord Sugar’s business partner and with the pressure mounting there are sure to be explosive scenes ahead!
