Rangers Drugs Community Awareness and Information Evening

The main aims of the awareness meeting on Friday 20 January were To show any person taking or involved in illegal drugs, there is a way out, there is help available and hopefully we have signposted that To signal the beginning of an education programme for the youth of the community were we work in association with Narcotics Anonymous, Alcoholics Anonymous, Youth Work Co Ordinator and the Club Health and Wellbeing Officer.

Hopefully the meeting will initiate the coming together of all local GAA Clubs and local organisations to work together to combat this problem.

We would like to thank all the people who took the time to attend the meeting .A special mention to members of the local GAA clubs who supported the event, and we will support them equally as well if they host similar events .
