Family-run kitchen firm scoops prestigious design award

A family-run kitchen design firm based in Jonesborough has received a prestigious design award from Houzz, the leading online platform for home renovation and design.

Fearon Bros. was awarded the “Best of Design 2017” prize, having been selected by more than 40 million monthly unique users, comprising of more than one million active home building, home improvement and industry professionals from across Ireland and the UK.

Established almost 40 years ago, the firm is one of just seven companies in Northern Ireland to receive the design award, based on popularity of their kitchen designs and creativity.

Managing Director, Declan Fearon, expressed the company’s delight: “We are absolutely thrilled to receive this award from a massive online community on Houzz,” he said.  “This award is testament to our unique designs and excellent customer service. We have also worked diligently to build our online profile and we’re delighted that more and more people are seeing our work from across the globe.”

Conferring the award, Andrew Small, Managing Director of Houzz UK and Ireland, said the winners are an “incredible group of talented and customer-focused professionals”.

“Each of these businesses was singled out for recognition by our community or homeowners and design enthusiasts for helping to turn their home improvement dreams into reality,” he said.

In recent years, Fearon Bros has made significant enhancements to their showroom and introduced state of the art design technology to improve their service offering.   The company has also worked closely with top interior designers in Belfast and Dublin whilst also expanding into new markets; designing and shipping kitchens to homes in Australia.
