Lá Mór na Gaeilge at Tí Chulainn

The second annual Irish Language Day at Tí Chulainn will take place on Saturday 18th March.
This fun filled day of events begins at 9.30am with Irish Language Classes in the morning, which will be catered for all levels. The afternoon will include drama and music as the pupils from Gaelscoil Phádraig Naofa will present ‘Jospeh and his Technicolour Dreamcoat’ at 1pm followed by music from the traditional arts partnership and local musicians at 2pm.
Reading and Drama workshops will run for children aged 7-11 years from 2pm-5pm with a sinning puppet show with na Móilíní for children aged 0-6years.  Yoga workshops for primary and secondary school children will take at 4pm and 5pm, booking is essential as there limited places.  In the evening there will be a series of bilingual talks, with Linda Ervine, Dr. Gearóid Trimble and Dr. Charlie Dillon followed by music from local musicians Bothán.
Speaking about the event Thomas Marron, Ti Chulainn Manager stated, “This is a great opportunity to showcase the Irish Language.   There is entertainment for everyone and it is guaranteed to be fun day for all the family.”
