December 15, 2009

The Ulster semi-final of Scór na nÓg was held in St. Patrick’s High School in Keady on Saturday evening.

As always, there was immense talent on display from all the young performers who took to the stage representing their respective club and county.

Armagh county representatives were from Silverbridge, Mullaghbawn, Carrickcruppen, Cullyhanna, Dromintee and Middletown.

On the night, the Silverbridge contingent was a runaway success, winning the Ceili Dancing, Solo Singing, Recitation and Quiz sections.  Carrickcruppen’s Ballad Group was also successful at the event, while Warrenpoint won the set dancing category.

These acts will go forward to take part in the Ulster final which will be held in Galbally, Co Tyrone  on Saturday January 16th at 7.00pm.
