Keady mortar appeal

Detectives from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch have made an appeal for information regarding the attempted mortar bombing of Keady police station on Friday, February 19th.
They are keen to speak to motorists and pedestrians who were in the area of Derrynoose Road and Davis Street in Keady between 5.30am and 7.00am that morning.
Police are very interested in any information in relation to the White Renault Kangoo van with the registration number 00 LH 1187, which was abandoned outside the police station or a maroon or dark red Ford Escort, with roof bars and a tow bar, which was also at the scene. This car was recovered by police six miles away from the scene. It had been extensively damaged by fire.
