Barriers stolen

April 20, 2010

Police in Newry are investigating the theft of crash barriers from two separate locations in the city.

Sometime between the beginning of March and 13th April a quantity of corrugated bar crash barriers was dismantled and stolen from Brogie’s Road.

On 16th April, police received a report of galvanised mesh security barrier panels being taken from a work site on Dublin Road.

A vehicle would have been needed to transport these materials and police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to either theft to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
