Lorry Pull proceeds donated to fund
June 8, 2010
Organisers of last weekend’s Lorry Pull in aid of the Natasha McShane fund have extended grateful appreciation to everyone who helped in any way with the event.
They sincerely thank members of the Crossmaglen Fire and Rescue Service for overseeing the safety of the event; to Creggan Transport for the use of their lorry and driver; to all the stewards who collected donations and those who helped pull the lorry along the route. A big thank you to the sponsors of the spot prizes on the night and to those who donated food and helped out during the event.
The night was a huge success with a great night of craic and dancing to Rio, who made the long journey from Trillick in Co. Tyrone to entertain the crowd until the early hours.
Many thanks to everyone for their support and generosity, the impressive sum of £3043stg and €2285 raised has been donated to the Natasha McShane fund and we take this opportunity to wish Natasha a very speedy recovery.
