Camloch’s Got Talent…… .back by popular demand
June 22, 2010
Féile Chamlocha is now entering its 14th year and as part of this year’s celebrations, a ‘Camloch’s Got Talent’ event is currently being organised.
Heats will commence this Saturday June 26th and will be held weekly in venues around the area, leading up to the grand final on Saturday August 21st.
This weekend’s heat will be held in Camlough INF Hall and is hosted by Camlough Rovers. The opening number will be performed by Jackie Mooney.
Sean Keenan was a very popular winner of the event last year and scooped the £1,000 cash prize on his home turf. Word has it that Sean has no intention of relinquishing his title.

Children’s events
The committee of Féile Chamlocha has drawn up a programme of events attempting to cater for all ages and tastes. Children’s events will be free of charge as usual and local mountaineer Banjo Bannon will tutor children and adults in the skills of abseiling and kayaking. These particular events are often oversubscribed and the committee urges anyone who would like to join in the fun to contact a committee member as soon as possible.
