Lislea crash man dies

A man has died from injuries he sustained in a car crash in Lislea last weekend. Gerry McParland (47) from the village was critically injured in the one-car collision on the Hall Road in the early hours of Saturday morning, June 19th.
A second occupant of the car, a man in his twenties, was less seriously injured.
The men were travelling in a silver Mitsubishi vehicle which hit a wall.
Mr McParland, a father-of-two, passed away in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast on Tuesday. He was laid to rest in Lislea on Thursday and is survived by his wife, daughters, mother and wider family circle.
