Cash Machine Reinstatement Welcomed – Hearty
July 20, 2010
Sinn Fein’s Terry Hearty has welcomed the long awaited reintroduction of the cash machine services at the Bank of Ireland in Crossmaglen.
The councillor said, “I am delighted that work has begun to restore the town’s banklink facilities. In today’s modern world this type of service is essential in any town that wants to encourage business, tourism and trade.
“The fact that people would have to travel to Camlough or Castleblayney to access their money was just unacceptable and for this reason I consistently called for the restoration of the cash machine in Crossmaglen. I am delighted that the Bank of Ireland has decided to replace the cash machine and I hope that this is more convenient for people from the area and our many visitors.”
