No date or venue fixed yet for Armagh minors

July 27, 2010

Armagh Minors will play Munster champions  Cork this coming weekend. At the time of going to press no details of where and when were available. The big question for the defending All-Ireland champions is, will they be able to bounce back from their uncharacteristically dreadful Ulster final performance against Tyrone.

Paramount to the champions cause will be the availability of team Captain, Peter Carragher, to team manager Paul McShane, after his fellow clubman missed the match with Tyrone through injury.  Cork have beaten Clare 1-9 to 0-9, Tipperary 2-12 to 2-9 and Kerry in the Munster final 1-8 to 1-7 so the Orchard County youngsters will have too find their feet quickly if they are to quell the rebel rising to reach the All-Ireland semi-finals. A true reflection on their abilities and Armagh are more than capable of beating Cork.
