CAWT Social Inclusion Programme gets underway at Creggan

Women in the south Armagh locality are already benefitting from Co-operation and Working Together’s Social Inclusion Project.

Currently there is a ‘Confidence to Question’ Programme running in Mullaghbawn Community Hall on Wednesday at 11.00am.

Upcoming ‘Rolling with the Punches’ course will begin in Creggan Church of Ireland Parish Hall on Tuesday 9th November 2010 from 2.30pm – 4.30 pm.  This is a 6 week programme aimed at improving women’s overall mental health and well-being by raising awareness to the importance of keeping mentally fit and healthy.  The programme will cover topics such as coping with anxiety and depression, holistic therapies, self esteem, stress management, relaxation techniques and much more.  This course will be of particular benefit to women (of all ages) who are experiencing isolation / low mood. All courses are free of charge.

Other upcoming events include an Information and Coffee morning for parents/ carers of children with a disability on 18th November at 10.30 am in Cross Square Hotel.  If you are interested in enrolling or finding out further information on any aspect of the project, please contact Duana McArdle on 07920796623.
