Newtownhamilton Fire and Rescue Service

The Liver Support Group committee would like to extend their sincere thanks to Newtownhamilton Fire and Rescue Service for hosting the very successful Charity Car Wash that took place on Saturday 18th June on the Commons and making the event fun filled for all those involved. We would like to say a special thanks to Tom McVerry, the Commons Auction, Margaret Riddle, Amanda Henry and Auto Supplies who all contributed to making the day such a success. The Liver Support Group would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their generous donations and support on the day.

Darts Tournament

A very successful darts tournament was held in The Horseshoe Bar, Armagh Street, Newtownhamilton on Saturday 11th June in support of this worthwhile cause.

The committee extend grateful thanks to Vincey and Deborah Savage and Christy O’Brien who organised the event. Thanks to all the darts throwers who participated in the tournament, to everyone who donated prizes for the raffle and to all who attended on the night.

A special word of thanks to Mickey Savage, a most proficient and entertaining auctioneer who ensured an enjoyable and profitable auction. Thanks to those who donated items for the auction and to those who bought them.

Thanks to the staff of Cullyhanna Pharmacy who raffled a “Pamper Hamper” and to the pupils, parents and of St Patrick’s Primary School for their Non Uniform Day. These donations are greatly appreciated.
