Over the next two years the South Down Family Health Initiative (SDFHI) in partnership with South Lough Neagh Regeneration Association (SLNRA) and Women and Families Health Initiative (South Armagh), will be carrying out home visits in the South Armagh area to deliver the MARA Project.”

In the next couple of months an information event will be held in Creggan C.O.I Parish Hall. Follow Creggan Notes for further details.

Annual Suicide Remembrance Event – Date for your Diary

To commemorate World Suicide Awareness, Creggan Church of Ireland Parish is again teaming up with The South Armagh Rural Health Partnership and the PIPS Project to hold a Community Remembrance event for all those who have lost their lives to suicide. This Annual event attempts to bring some comfort to those families affected and is an opportunity for the community to come together in a show of solidarity. This year’s event will once again be held in the Walled Garden of Creggan Poet’s Glen, taking place on Friday 7th September 2012 and will commence at 7pm. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the nearby Church Hall.
