November 13, 2012

Friday 16th Nov at 8pm

Louth VEC in association with the European Union’s PEACE III Programme are delighted to announce an upcoming concert which will be a celebration of Ulster Scots and Irish Traditional Music.  The concert features Dundalk musicians Zoë Conway on fiddle and John Mc Intyre on guitar, and Banbridge native, Scott Wallace on lowland pipes.

The concert is being held in the beautiful Creggan Church of Ireland, Co. Armagh, on Friday the 16th of November at 8pm.  It is free admission and there will be light refreshments served after the concert.

It promises to be a wonderful evening of music, songs and craic, with three world class musicians.  Renowned fiddle player Zoë Conway has toured with Riverdance and performed with many orchestras across the world; John Mc Intyre on guitar formerly of The Revs, and Scott Wallace, an award winning piper from the Field Marshall Montgomery Pipe Band.

The project is supported by the European Union’s PEACE III Programme as awarded by Louth Peace and Reconciliation Partnership. The Project is managed by Co. Louth VEC’s PEACE III funded Peace of Art Project.
