Challenge of Change Programme at St Colman’s

Justin McCabe from Newry and Mourne District Council visited St. Colman’s on Monday 20th of January 2009 to deliver a presentation and lead a discussion with S1 and S2 students.
The presentation was on ‘Migrant Workers in Newry and Mourne: Get the facts right and challenge the myths’ under the Challenge of Change Programme. He also distributed leaflets and posters for the S1 and S2 year groups.
This is part of the Citizenship Programme provided by the college to ensure that our students are informed citizens, ready to play a responsible part in the local and wider community.
