Inaugural Armagh GAA Club All-Star awards Sponsored by Armagh Sports and Trophy

The Carrickdale Hotel will be packed to capacity on Dec 2 as it hosts the inaugural Armagh Sports and Trophy sponsored Armagh GAA Club All Star Awards

For the first-time, Armagh GAA have announced their Club All Star Team for 2017 with the awards presented on the night kindly sponsored by Armagh Sport & Trophies. The All-Star team features players from 8 different clubs which include Senior Champions Armagh Harps (5), Intermediate champions Killeavy (2) Junior champions Ballyhegan (1), Junior championship Runner-up Thomas Davis Corrinshego (1) beaten Intermediate finalists Silverbridge (1) and deposed at the final hurdle Senior champions Maghery (3) Ballymacnab and Crossmaglen Rangers are the remaining clubs with one representative each on the star studded 15.

A feature of the glittering awards ceremony will be the announcement of Football and Hurling Players of the Year, County Footballer and County Hurler of the Year with a range of Club Awards also being presented.

Armagh GAA County Chairman, Paul McArdle said, “I’m really looking forward to this inaugural awards night which will showcase the talent across our county and promises to be a great night for all Gaels to celebrate our passion for Gaelic games”

Former Armagh great Jimmy Smyth will be Master of Ceremonies with the announcement of the star guest speaker coming on the week leading up to the event.

There are still a limited number of Tickets at £30/€35 available to purchase from Armagh County Board Office for the first of what will be an annual pre-Christmas treat for supporters of both club and county to acknowledge the efforts of the players, who put in the long hours, for our entertainment and enjoyment.
