Kilcoo to face Ballyboden

All-Ireland Club Senior Football Championship Semi-Final

First time Ulster champions Kilcoo will face Dublin and Leinster champions Ballyboden St Enda’s on Saturday January 4 at 3-30 pm in Kingspan Breffni Park.

The Dublin champions left it late to claim their second Leinster title in 4 years. Having failed to score for 20 minutes Ballyboden trailed Carlow champions Eire Og (seeking their sixth title) by a point as the clock headed into the final minute plus 2 added on minutes in which they snatched victory from the jaws of defeat with 3 late unanswered points from Warren Egan, Ryan Basquel and Michael Darragh Macauley at MW Hire O’Moore Park Portlaois in awful weather conditions.

The second semi-final between reigning All-Ireland and Connacht champions Corofin of Galway, who are looking for a record achieving three-in – row and record title holders Munster Champions Nemo Rangers of Cork whose sixth and last win came in 2002-3. The sides last met in the semis 2 years ago and the re-match will take place on Jan 4 in Ennis at 1-30pm.

Both All-Ireland club semi-finals will be shown live on TG4.
