Resurfacing scheme to commence at Culloville

A section of the Concession Road at Culloville will close daily to traffic when a major £275k resurfacing programme begins next month.

The resurfacing work will commence on Monday 6th August and extend for a distance of 1.6km, from the speed limit signs on the outskirts of Culloville village to Ballynacarry Bridge on the Co. Monaghan border.

The scheme will deliver significant improvements to both the structural integrity and surface of the road.

Due to the nature of the scheme, a daily road closure will be in operation between the hours of 8am and 6pm from Monday, August 6th until Friday, August 24th.  During these times traffic will be diverted via A37 Concession Road, N53, M1, N52, N2, Castleblaney, N53 and vice versa.

Diversionary routes will be clearly signed and local access for residents will be maintained at all times during the works.

In order to help ensure the safety of road users and road workers, the public is asked to comply with all temporary traffic restrictions and to drive with care when travelling through, or in the vicinity, of the works.
